This is what i faced so far! i have a macbook pro which i updated to yosemite very recently and it occured that the hard disk is failing. i reset the hard disk deleted the partition and cracked my head. i tried to use the command r option to download and reinstall which it didnt happen and spent lot of Data usage too. but then again i removed the hard disk and installed a hard disk from my windows pc which was installed windows 8, i restarted then suddently it worked like butter. installed the boot camp too then it was really fine. since apple pc is to use mac os not windows i attempted to install mac os x again. this is where i had to fix the hard disk to a windows desktop and used command line (cmd) to format the hard disk to first state. use diskpart method it really does work! then fix the hard disk to the macbook and create a bootable recovery assistant from a mac pc you need a usb pen driver to do this task. by doing this task you will be able to run recovery mo...
